Monday is Market day in St Ives, every Monday, but the bank holiday markets in spring and late summer are the biggest and best.

The end of August bank holiday Monday is the biggest and busiest of the year. On this Monday the centre of town is filled with market stalls selling everything from fresh fruit, vegetables and plants through trinkets, clothing, household goods to computer and audio goods.

The stalls spill out from the market square into all the surrounding streets, the bus station and up station road.
